The Viking View – Touch of Grey
A Shark Grey 58 Convertible with a custom Palm Beach Towers (PBT) tuna tower takes center stage in this Viking View. She’s a fierce apex predator with killer looks and entrancing aesthetics. |
The black-grey-and silver scheme accentuates the 58’s signature design traits (double chines, hull-side vents and feature lines). The bottom paint is black; the boot and accent stripes are metallic silver; and shades of grey were used to create a unique faux teak toe rail. The synchronization continues with the PBT hardtop and 7-foot gap tower. The undersides of the hardtop and sunshade, as well as the upper helm’s control box, are Shark Grey. In contrast, the satellite dome, sunshade frame and the top of the control box are black. The attention to detail is impressive – notice that portions of the twin VHF antennas are black to match the sunshade frame. |
This aft quarter view showcases the toe rail nicely. Featuring grey-stained teak, the twin helm chairs and Battle Station (both from BlueWater Chairs) are also part of this 58’s out-of-the-box visual profile. |
The 58 sits in the middle of our industry-leading fleet of mid-size sportfishing yachts; this model continues to enjoy great success with more than 35 sold. Clockwise from top left: hull No. 29, our featured Shark Grey 58, was delivered last week; hull No. 30 is an Atlantic Blue beauty that will be at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, Oct. 27-31; and hulls No. 31 and 32 (shown on Line 3 in the manufacturing plant) are both Snow White models to be completed later this year. |
