Oyster Harbors Wins Customer Satisfaction Award

Oyster Harbors Marine works hard to keep its customers happy. Those efforts recently resulted in Oyster Harbors being honored with a national award for excellence in customer satisfaction.

The National Marine Manufacturers Association recently announced the boat dealer recipients of the 2017 Marine Industry Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) Awards. The awards honor boat dealers for excellence in customer satisfaction and for excellence in customer service.

This is the second consecutive year the awards have been presented, and the second year that Oyster Harbors has been an award recipient. This year, Oyster Harbors won for customer satisfaction excellence in both sales and service for Regulator boats and for excellence in sales for Tiara Yachts.

The NMMA uses dealer satisfaction data collected through the Marine Industry CSI program to recognize boat dealers who actively measure customer satisfaction and pursue continuous improvements to better serve their customers. The 2017 CSI Award dealer recipients achieved an independently-measured standard of excellence of 90 percent or higher in customer satisfaction over the past program year.

Data was collected as part of a survey among customers purchasing a new boat or engine during the period between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017. For this reporting period, the program surveyed more than 140,000 customers.

“Boat dealers are the direct line between the customer and the manufacturer, playing an essential role in the boat ownership experience and fostering customer satisfaction. The 2017 boat dealer CSI Award recipients excel at serving boaters with a commitment to superior sales and service,” said Robert Newsome, vice president of engineering standards and membership for NMMA. “We thank the dealers for their dedication to their customers, ensuring that today’s boaters remain lifelong boaters.”
