Say hello to Juan Lazaro, a Lead Painter in Exterior Trim, the department where the finishing touches are completed on our yachts. Juan, who began working at Viking in 2005, deftly applies taping to prepare for the painting of a boot stripe on a 58 Convertible (left). “It takes a steady hand and good concentration,” says Juan. You can sometimes find Juan sketching yachts and his fellow boatbuilders during lunch break. “I love to draw. It runs in the family.”
