The 44 Open shines as an outstanding day boat, with a weather-protected command deck (with optional enclosure and air conditioning) that provides quick access to a tournament-winning cockpit.
The boat also thrives as an overnighter, checking all the boxes for accommodations and conveniences. The layout includes a forward stateroom with a walk-around island queen bed, a guest stateroom beneath the command deck, a full head and shower, a nicely appointed galley and a four-person dinette.
The second aft stateroom is unique to this size and class of a boat, with room for a large two-person berth and hanging locker. The head comes with an attractive teak-faced vanity, Corian countertop and sink, medicine cabinet with mirrored doors, walk-in shower and satin nickel towel bars and rings.
The engineroom, lazarette, forward bilge and anchor locker are all painted with Snow White Awlgrip for maximum visibility. Access to the twin MAN 800MHP powerplants, Seakeeper SK 6, Delta-T engineroom ventilation system and other mechanical and electrical components is excellent.
