It’s amazing what Viking can do with 44 feet. Owners will find more comfort, accommodations and conveniences in our two-stateroom, two-head 44 Convertible than in boats over 50 feet from other brands. She’s the complete package, designed and built with legendary Viking quality and performance. Delivering a soft dry ride, the 44 tops out at 38-plus knots and cruises comfortably from 32 to 34 knots with the available twin Volvo Penta 1000MHP D13s.

No question, the flybridge is the captain’s domain, outfitted with all the controls, electronics and communication equipment needed for safe and comfortable navigation. But with the 44 C’s center console walk-around design, there’s still plenty of room for company. Guests can relax and take in the beautiful views from port or starboard lounges (with backrests) or the forward seating integrated into the console.

Our cockpit design plays an integral role in making the 44 C a tournament-winning fishing machine or a spacious platform for fun fishing. Coamings are rounded for comfort; toekick space provides safety and balance; a backing plate is laminated into the sole for rocket launcher, fighting chair or table installations; the curved shape of the mezzanine increases cockpit real estate; and large scuppers make for quick drainage. The insulated and removable in-deck fish boxes are equipped with large holes for easy pump out and cleaning.

Take in the action from the raised mezzanine seating featuring premium Costa Marine upholstery and insulated freezer storage underneath. The centerline section provides access to the engineroom. For easy viewing and operation, the engine RPM, water temperature and oil pressure gauges as well as the engine start and stop controls are all conveniently located on the entranceway’s outboard panels.

The 44 Convertible makes the most of her 16-foot, 4-inch beam, providing a spacious climate-controlled interior. Like our larger yachts, she offers a beautifully appointed salon, dinette and galley. Large tinted deckhouse windows draw in natural light, accentuating the high-gloss teak joinery and luxury furnishings.

The midship master stateroom’s queen-size walk-around bed with a Handcraft mattress ensures restful nights, and there is abundant storage available in the maple-lined area under the bed, the hanging locker and multiple drawers.
