The V Report – Smokin’ Hot

Valhalla 46
At Valhalla Boatworks, the hits just keep coming. The latest knock-your-socks-off V Series center console is a smokin’ hot black Valhalla 46 with a silver boot stripe and blue accent stripe. The deep V hull’s sharp entry cuts like a knife, with the signature double strakes and chines knocking down spray and providing lift and stability.
Teak? Yes, she’s clad in the beautiful hardwood from the raised step-up platform all the way to transom live well.
The workmanship shines throughout, but particularly around the teak installation’s perimeter that deftly mimics the deck liner’s radiused shapes.
This V-46 is full of surprises. Check out the custom aft-facing seating. The configuration involved much more than a simple reversal of the second row of chairs; our Design and Engineering Department created alternative forward and aft seating modules to make it all work.
Cut by our five-axis CNC router, high-density foam molds were used to manufacture the fiberglass modules. The $1 million machine gives us the ability to create such large shapely structures to precise tolerances.
The V Series offers factory-installed Garmin or Simrad electronics packages, but some owners utilize the Viking subsidiary Atlantic Marine Electronics for personalized installations. This owner went with Furuno electronics, anchored by a trio of 19-inch NavNet TZtouch3 multi-function displays. The resin-infused hardtop features an array of molded-in areas to hold lights, electronics and speakers.
The icing on the cake for this Valhalla 46, named GUNSMOKE with a homeport of Port O’Connor, Texas, is its faux teak transom. It features bold silver lettering with black and blue pinstriping and a drop shadow. Nice.

An evolution of Viking excellence, Valhalla Boatworks pushes center console quality, luxury, performance and fishability to unprecedented levels. The fleet consists of the V-33, V-37, V-41 and V-46. For more on the V Series, please contact Oyster Harbors Marine.
