Vikings 52 Open is sleek, fast, powerful, and big on accommodations and performance. Her high performance MAN V-12 1400 mhp common rail diesels deliver a mid 30 knot cruise and a top end speed of 40 knots. A 21.5kW Cummins Onan diesel generator is standard. Her optional Seakeeper gyro stabilizer eliminates roll to provide optimum stability and comfort.

The command helm deck features a wraparound windshield and centerline helm providing optimal visibility and all-weather protection. Full engine instrumentation, windshield wipers and washers, single level electronic controls, power assisted hydraulic steering and a helm/ console recessed radio box for additional electronics. A U-shaped settee/ lounge with teak dinette table is to starboard aft of the helm. A molded fiberglass cabinet with stowage and refrigerator w/ icemaker is across from the settee/ lounge which includes a flat screen TV. The command deck creates a salon like atmosphere abaft the helm area.

The 142 square foot cockpit features split mezzanine seating with built in coolers beneath the seat cushions. The cockpit includes a transom live well, transom door with lift gate, in deck fish and stowage boxes, rounded coaming for comfort, dockside water connection, sea and freshwater wash down systems plus under gunwale stowage and engine room access.

The interior salon is a tony environment of comfort and detailed high gloss teak joinery. Optimizing the 17 6 beam, the sense of spaciousness is apparent throughout the galley with generous counter space, under counter refrigeration, under mounted stainless steel sink, electric cooktop, microwave/ convection oven including maple lined cabinetry and drawers. This three stateroom layout incorporates a booth style lounge/ dinette with teak table. A home theatre entertainment system includes a 40 HD flat screen television with surround sound. A laundry center with stacked washer & dryer is conveniently located in the forward companionway.

The master stateroom is forward. Generously appointed with a walk around queen bed and slumber mattress. Pullout drawers provide plenty of stowage along with stowage for larger gear available beneath the lift top mattress. The teak hullside cabinetry is maple lined. Port and starboard shelving adds a convenient and practical touch for decorative and personal items. A 24 flat screen TV, a DVD player and stereo system provide entertainment. The en-suite master stateroom head features a large fiberglass stall shower, under mounted sink, nickel fixtures and custom countertop which complements the sculptured teak vanity and Amtico custom flooring.

Guest staterooms (2) are located on the starboard side featuring comfortable upper & lower berths with slumber mattresses, plenty of stowage and flank a second spacious head with stall shower.
