The Medeiros Limestone 24 Cuddy Cabin is an ultimate runabout that combines precise detailing with strength and seaworthiness. Deck hardware is stainless steel and through-bolted; deck surfaces are non-skid; the cockpit is self-draining; and there's an automatic electric bilge pump. The helm station has windshield wipers, nine gauges, a stainless steel wheel, a sterndrive trim switch, and a single-lever control. The cabin has a 6-foot 6-inch V-berth, dome lights, and an opening hatch. Limestones are built to prevail in the most adverse conditions; all equipment and construction is designed to meet and exceed US and Canadian Coast Guard standards. The hull and deck construction consists of alternate layers of hand-laid fiberglass mat and roving over a special end-grain balsa core. Laminated stringers and floors are also overlaid with mat and roving. The hull and deck are hand sealed and fastened together using stainless steel bolts, nuts and washers. The stability and seaworthiness of Limestone stems from their custom construction and their special deep-V hull. The 22-degree deadrise and detailed wide lift strips raise the boat quickly to an easy plane at low RPMs. This is both comfortable and fuel efficient.
