Coming Attraction–the Valhalla V37
After the response to the Valhalla V41 model from Viking, we ordered up its compact cousin, the V37 center console fishing machine.
And what a boat this is! Of course, it has all the built-in quality from the well-known Viking name. But this mid-size vessel is loaded with features.
Our model features a Kingston Grey hull with white waterline boot stripe, and a white powdercoat package throughout. It’s got triple white Yamaha F300 outboards controlled with the Optimus joystick steering for fingertip control. And the Valhalla factory tells us that with a full load onboard, this sporty boat will be able to cruise along at 57mph.
For those who want to fish, the Valhalla V37 is ready. This model has an extra in-deck livewell at the bow, in addition to the 53-gallon transom mounted livewell at the stern, painted in Aristo blue. There are two 12v electric reel outlets, a six-rod rocket launcher, 360-degree toekick, and a 123-gallon floor-mounted fishbox. Under the aft-facing mezzanine seating you’ll find tackle storage and an insulated cooler.
At the faux-teak helm pod, you’ll find twin Garmin 17-inch displays, the Garmin solar module and Garmin Reactor autopilot. The overhead fiberglass T-top and the Costa clear windshield provide protection and comfort, and the upgraded upholstery on the helm seating modules will be welcomed. The Fusion Apollo stereo, six JL speakers, six-channel JL amp and Sirius XM tuner will have your passengers rockin’ and the LED lighting system will make this boat look good at night.
