Larry Russo

For Larry, the marine industry is more than a profession; it is a family legacy. His journey began at a young age within his family’s business, Russo Marine—a Boston-area institution founded by his grandparents in 1940. It was there that Larry learned the business from the bottom up, exposed to every facet of operations, service, and sales.

Following his graduation from Merrimack College in 1992, Larry was instrumental in modernizing the family business for the 21st century. Under his guidance, the company evolved into a premier boat and yacht retailer, eventually leading to its acquisition by MarineMax in 2016. Most recently, Larry served as Northeast Regional President for MarineMax, overseeing dealership operations across four states and managing a team of over 200 members.

Today, Larry has returned to his first passion: working directly with boaters to help them realize their dreams on the water. As a Yacht Broker for Oyster Harbors Marine, he specializes in both new yacht sales and professional brokerage services. Whether he is guiding a customer through the complex process of a new build or leveraging his deep knowledge and contacts to market and sell a brokerage vessel, Larry provides a level of executive-tier insight rarely found in the sales field.

A resident of Gloucester, Larry is dedicated to serving his fellow boaters on the North Shore and beyond. When he isn’t helping customers, he enjoys life on the water with his wife, Lisa, and their family and friends.
