Position Overview:
Oyster Harbors Marine is seeking an energetic, dynamic individual with a positive attitude to join our Parts team. The primary responsibilities for this role include the shipping and receiving of parts, counting, stocking, and organizing inventory, with system data entries to support all transactions. The ability to interact with customers for over-the-counter sales while multitasking is essential. While prior experience in parts, warehousing, sales, and ERP systems is advantageous, being a reliable and willing team player who can contribute whenever and wherever needed is even more important.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive Deliveries: Handle incoming deliveries and accurately post good receipts in the system.
- Ship Parts: Manage the shipping of outgoing parts and returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Service Department Support: Charge out parts as required by the Service Department to ensure smooth operations.
- Inventory Management: Stock, count, and organize parts inventory, maintaining an orderly and efficient workspace.
- Customer Interaction: Attend to customers and handle over-the-counter sales, providing excellent customer service while multitasking effectively.
- Internal Deliveries: Deliver packages and parts to other departments within the organization as required.
- Purchase Order Accuracy: Collaborate with the Parts Specialist to ensure the accuracy of purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies.
