Location: Osterville, MA
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on boat engines, systems, and components.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Perform installations of marine electronics, navigation systems, and other accessories.
- Conduct inspections and provide detailed reports on the condition of vessels.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with customers.
- Stay updated on the latest marine technologies and repair techniques.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Marine Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of boat systems, engines, and marine electronics.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Certifications from recognized marine industry organizations are a plus.
Tools and Equipment:
- Basic tools must be owned by the mechanic.
- Specialty tools will be supplied by Oyster Harbors Marine.
