Mag Bay Announces New 42 Express

Mag Bay Yachts recently announced plans to add a new 42 Express model to their fleet.

Mag Bay founders Michael and Barrett Howarth announced the plans at November’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Since the company’s founding in 2015, they have focused exclusively on their popular 33 center console, a strikingly attractive vessel designed for serious fishing.

The new 42 Express will blend quality, style and function. It will offer all the fishing features you’d expect from a high-quality sportfishing yacht. But it will also offer impressive versatility and luxurious amenities that will make it ideal for extended cruising.

Boaters will get plenty of power in the Mag Bay 42 Express, thanks to twin Caterpillar C-12s powering it to more than 40 knots. The interior layout will include a luxurious stateroom, a head, a generous galley and a salon, all of which will make the 42 Express a favorite cruising vessel.

Production of the Mag Bay 42 Express is slated to begin in 2018 and it is expected to be unveiled in 2019.
